The Fallbrook Veterans
Recognition Program was approved by the Charles E. Swisher VFW
Post 1924 Board and Members as a permanently expanding portion
of this web site. Any Veteran or Family Member or
Friend of a deceased Veteran may submit an application for addition
to this web site. The veteran must live, or have lived,
in Fallbrook, California. VFW membership is not required.
This Program is endorsed by the Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce
and the Fallbrook-Bonsall Village News. It is managed by a Board
of Directors composed of Fallbrook VFW Members and Fallcrook Citizens.
Request for
inclusion of a veteran in this Recognition Program should include:

Name of Veteran and Service Number, if known. (Note that the Service Number
will not be published on the Web Site. It is for Post verification purposes
only)
* Military Service of Veteran and dates of service
*
Military rank at retirement or separation from the military
* Veterans
Birth Date and Death Date, if deceased.
* A copy of
the Veterans' Separation Papers is preferred, but not required (usually
a DD214).
* A picture of the Veteran - preferably in a
digital computer file, but
a photo print is acceptable.
*
Wars and/ or military campaigns of veteran and Decorations received.
*
A personal short story about the veteran.
* Any links
to internet sites containing information about the Veteran.
*
A signature by the person submitting the application with the
statement:
"I certify the information provided herein is
true and correct."

phone number and e-mail (if available) of the person submitting.
These will not be published on the web site)
(NOTE: The VFW Post 1924 retains the right to make
edits or deletions to applications but if those changes impact
the facts submitted, the entry will be returned to the applicant
for final approval. Note, also, that some of the above information
items are optional for submission. )
